150+ conversions in 12 months

Thanks in part to our efforts, we brought in over 150+ conversions in 1 year for BVR Advies. Where the challenge lay and what we did to achieve the goals you can read in this BVR Advies case!

Review Paul van Rijn
"We got to know Daniel as an inspired entrepreneur. Because we were still unfamiliar with this form of branding, it was nice that Daniel took us by the hand here. Through monthly reports from and contacts with him, we quickly got a better feel for the whole thing."
Paul van Rijn - Founder of BVR Advies

Objective

In February 2019, we sat down with BVR. They were not yet very active in the field of online marketing, but they saw its potential. The objective was therefore very simple: more customers. And preferably business customers.

Based on the current situation, competitors and target audience, the choice was quickly made: BVR Advies should be more findable organically and become the most findable office in the region. Especially since little had been done in the area of SEO.

An important part of SEO is local SEO. An entrepreneur has no desire to drive 1.5 hours to his accountant and vice versa. For this reason, being findable locally is very important for a company like BVR.

  • From April 2019 through April 2020, there have been 156 contact moments. These include: completed forms, clicks on the phone number and clicks on the email address.
  • This does not include the measured conversions in Google My Company (call & route request). In the first quarter of 2020, there were 7 route requests and 17 calls via Google My Company.
  • The contact moments will definitely include contact moments with existing customers. Unfortunately, this is not measurable through Google Analytics.
  • There were also several unmeasured contact moments. Consider, for example, people grabbing their phones and typing in the phone number themselves.

The challenge

The challenge began first with a piece of support. BVR had yet to be convinced of the power of SEO. We had just started in the summer of 2019 and this is not the peak season for the industry BVR is in.

After the summer vacations, the market picked up and the new year also saw many more contact moments. These are therefore the moments when BVR needs to be ready and therefore findable.

Another important challenge during this project was that the focus was on attracting corporate clients. Private clients are of course also welcome at BVR, but business clients are much more interesting. Based on the available keywords, we could not differentiate between them, so we focused on being maximally findable.

That makes the chances of many business customers all the more likely.

Work performed

The process for BVR Advice consisted of phases: a startup in which we got everything ready and boosted the website and an SEO subscription in which we would work on a monthly basis.

The following work was performed in both phases:

  • Complete SEO audit
  • Pick up the areas of improvement from the SEO audit
  • Technical optimization
  • Keyword analysis
  • Writing texts
  • Link Building
  • Making the website completely measurable

Scaling up

In total, the entire process took just over a year. During the evaluation interview, it became clear that the SEO process was very successful and that it was well worth the investment.

For this reason, we decided together to intensify our cooperation. We are going to make more hours each month, write more texts and make sure the website brings in even more visitors and customers

Conclusion

The strategy that we have committed to now is working. So we're going to build on that as well. So we are going to write more content based on local keywords, be more findable locally and maybe streets with Google advertising.
