3400+ conversions in 10 months
See the success storyOverview. Measurability and simplicity. Those were three key components of making Royal Reesink's 20 websites measurable. Where the challenge lay and what we did to address it, you can read in this Royal Reesink case study.
Royal Reesink's goal was to create insight. Insight into the numbers of the 20 websites within Royal Reesink that sell used agricultural equipment. They wanted an easy way to see all the data from all the companies. Without fuss.
A full Google Analytics 4 implementation in itself is not very exciting. Except if you want to do it for 20 websites. Then, of course, you could create 20 Tag Manager containers and 20 Google Analytics 4 accounts, but that gets a bit cluttered and so that was not a solution.
Furthermore, it was also a challenge to create one convenient Looker Studio template. One that fits all the mutual companies as well as containing all the data from all the websites.
We started with an Excel sheet where all the companies were put in. This document was our guide from beginning to end. The Excel document stated:
From that document, we got to work. We created and had the Tag Manager container set up and set up all the other tags and conversions from there.
As a result, all websites are highly measurable, Google Analytics 4 is implemented, conversions are measured, Hotjar is running and each company has its own Looker Studio.
We have also created one total Looker Studio where you can see at a glance the figures of all the companies.
At Royal Reesink, it was not directly about a concrete result to be achieved. They mainly wanted more insight. And they more than succeeded.
In addition, our solution is also future-proof. Should websites be added, we can add them -without help from the developer or Royal Reesink- in a short time.
