Hi, I'm Igor. Online marketer at OMA, young father, karateka, crazy about motorcycles and watches and retro gamer (now part-time, because young father). Born and raised in Zoetermeer, right next to one of the ugliest places in the Netherlands. Look it up: Zoetermeer Central Station. Meanwhile moved and settled in beautiful Nijmegen with a house, a tree and some animals.

What are your hobbies?

My hobbies are motorcycling, a bit of gaming, messing around with my little aquarium, building duplo towers with my son(s) and getting beaten up in the Kyokushin karate dojo (my teacher is an ex army commander). I also work on some projects (including WordPress websites, logos, printing, etc.) on a hobby basis.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I have everything going nicely at home, so now it's time to work on myself. A while ago I ugly broke my ankle, so I'm still a little busy recovering. In 5 years I hope to have achieved a black belt (with my own gym?) and be successful as an online marketer.

What do you like to do on weekends?

On the weekends, I often go with have and keep towards our family and friends in Zoetermeer. From there we often go to Blijdorp in Rotterdam. If we stay in Nijmegen, I like to go carving on Saturdays (and sometimes Sundays)or get a piece of apple pie and a cappucino with the kids at Harm's Hoeve (an 'experience farm'). Not a sponsored post by the way.

What is your favorite social media channel?

YouTube! This is where I watch endless videos of watches and motorcycles, among other things. Oh, and documentaries. Addictive stuff.

What is your favorite music?

Reggae, yah man! My father is a real fan of Bob Marley fan, so not surprising that I took up the baton. I also like 90's music, country and a little hip hop.

What is your favorite travel destination?

Hmmm, difficult... In any case, I like to go to London, Spain and Berlin. In fact, I lived in London for a while and also made very good friends there who came back from Berlin. That's one of the reasons I love going there. In Spain we sometimes visit an acquaintance who owns a beach bar. Nice and relaxed. Croatia, Costa Rica and Aruba are also recommended!

How did you like your first week at OMA?

Nice and busy. I didn't have to be bored from the beginning and time flew by. I really felt at home right away in this top team.

What is your role within OMA?

For now, I am a jack-of-all-trades so I can learn as much as possible. My interests are mostly in technical SEO, data, branding and ads. So lots to do!

What is your specialty within OMA?

I have the most knowledge of technical SEO and branding. That's where I'm really going to specialize further.
