Now, of course, you can delete some accounts so you have some space again. But what if you can't, because you're still working for these clients?

Since we were able to expand our account from 100 to 300 accounts for free, and since we are not shy about sharing, I thought it was time for a short blog.

To be perfectly honest, I didn't think you could expand your Google Analytics account. That was for a number of reasons:

  • The marketing agencies I worked for needed multiple Google accounts to tackle the problem
  • I had never heard anyone talk about it before
  • I had never read anything about it before
  • I had asked several Analytics specialists and they also said it couldn't be done.

However, that changed when I brought it up once during our weekly meeting and Tom remarked, "Yes, it should be possible. You can just contact Google."

And then, of course, my response was, "Nice. Take care of it."

Expanding your Google Analytics account from 100 to 300 is how you do it

It's time to tell you how to expand your Analytics from 100 to 300. Are you ready? Do you have pen and paper at the ready?

Here it comes:

You just need to ask Google when you are logged into Google Analytics. You can do that by clicking on the question mark at the top right, then clicking on "Contact Us" and filling in some information there.

A bit of an anticlimax right? You don't have to do much for it. All you have to do is ask.
