To make it easy for my new clients (and of course for people who landed at this blog via Google), I write blogs about how they can best add me (or someone else) to their programs.
And today I'll show you how to do that within Hotjar.
Step 1: Go to Hotjar' s website and log in.
Step 2: Click on the flat icon at the top left and select the account you want to add someone to.
Step 3: Click on the male icon next to "Tracking" in the upper right corner.
Step 4: Click on "Invite Your Team.
Step 5: Make sure the correct organization is at the top, enter the email address of the person you want to add and give the correct role.
Tip: Only give the 'Admin' role when someone is also allowed to delete other administrators. Don't want that person to be able to do that? Then go for 'Read & Write.
Step 6: Click on "Send Invite.
Step 7: The person who invited you gets an email and has to click on action button shown in the email. Should that person not yet have Hotjar, the button is "Join Hotjar Now.
And it's that simple.
