COO
COO stands for Chief Operating Officer, which in Dutch means Operational Director.
The COO is responsible for the day-to-day operational activities of an organization. This role includes managing internal operations, ensuring efficient operations, and directing the various operational departments such as production, purchasing, and logistics.
What does a COO take care of?
The COO ensures that the company operates efficiently and that established operational goals are met. Goals such as: "Increase assembly line production rate by 10% in the next quarter." The CFO also often works closely with other executives such as the CEO, CCO and the CFO.
