Meet Gido Berendsen

This is Gido. Gido is an online marketer and a true “Achterhoeker”, a person from an area in the province of Gelderland, bordering the regions of Overijssel. And Gido brings their hardworking mentality to the office. Our farmer will go through your website to plant some SEO seeds here and there. So, he can reap some higher rankings later on...

Fortunately, Gido leaves his dialect at home and speaks neatly Dutch at the office. That's good, because then we can understand him in meetings and at the coffee machine.

What is your role within OMA?

At OMA, I deal primarily with SEO.

How long have you been working at OMA?

In February 2024, I joined OMA.

What else do you do besides online marketing?

Besides my work, I enjoy playing a game of soccer or visiting a match. I can therefore regularly be found at the Vijverberg.

Hey Gido!!! How are you doing?

Hey, I’m doing great! How about you?

Going all right here too. Tell me, why did you actually choose to work at OMA?

Initially, the concept of working for an agency really appealed to me. With so many different clients, every day is different. After spending an afternoon at OMA I was immediately convinced that this was the place where I wanted to work!

Nice to hear. What else do you like to do besides your work?

In my free time, I enjoy playing a game of soccer myself or attending matches, like to play videogames and in the summer, I enjoy a drink with my friends or girlfriend on the terrace or at our place along the river IJssel.

Sounds good! Are you a little fanatical about playing soccer, or is it more about the fun?

During the game and training we are very fanatical and everyone goes to extremes, but after the final whistle that fanaticism quickly turns into sociability. So, it's a bit of a combination of all of us working hard, but also time for fun. A bit like OMA.
